A full service nursery outlet stocking and sourcing all plant needs from shade trees, evergreens, flowering trees, shrubs and perennials. Our nursery grows a wide range of hollies, unusual conifers, screening evergreens and many different hard to find plants.
Our landscape distribution center is comprised of 5 acres. We serve landscape architects, designers and contractors. Our services include staging orders for pick up to minimize your time off the job and deliveries to maximize your efficiency on the job. We exercise care in our plant selection but realize that you may want to select your material. Call to arrange a tour. We love to show off. If you do not have the time for a visit, request photographs. It is the next best thing to a tour. Let us know how we may serve you. We do our best to accommodate all requests.

Delivery - We deliver plants within two hours of our offices. with capacity of up to 14,500 lbs . Delivery fees begin at $45 and increase based on distance and larger plant quantities.
*Shipments that are out of our range/weight handling are possible with our approved plant shipping contractors.

Curb-side pickup - Send a crew member to quickly stop by and pickup. We will have your order pulled and ready to load. Full payment is required before pickup.

Water Crest Farms Nursery was established by William D Wells on a small farm in Southern Chester County in the early 70's. The nursery was originally planted to support the landscape company W.D. Wells & Associates. The focus was on growing larger specimen evergreens and ornamental plants that are not available locally. By the mid 80's the need for a larger farm was apparent and prompted the move to our current location in West Grove.​
In 2012, with sons Bill and David at the reigns, we made the decision to close the landscape design/install division and focus on growing and selling a complete line of the highest quality plants. This move allowed us to concentrate fully on supplying both professionals and homeowners with great plants, service, knowledgeable and friendly staff.
While our nursery is known for premium large American Hollies, mature specimen ornamentals, and evergreens, we grow and stock much more!
